The most classic of basics coalesced with the charm of nature culminates for a genteel product.

The frigid winds brutally blow into my face causing me to retire into a cascade of fur. Winter often calls for the population to retreat into sweatpants and baggy jackets, but I look upon it as an opportunity for layers galore.

“Prep” loosely defines a form of style that includes crisp shirts and bright pops of color. Now I am not exactly one for this rather modest shade of style, but do enjoy experimentation. I opted for a stereotypical blue and white sailor inspired shirt and black jeans to keep things basic. Folding the jeans over, to show just a little bit of leg, added some much needed sexiness. The two pieces that make this ensemble “avant-garde” worthy are the fur vest and the 1970’s inspired clogs. Faux fur was the most impeccable addition to this outfit because it added a dose of varied texture to create a more visually interesting ensemble. Finally the clogs are the most basic yet vogue item that creates that chic look that I desperately crave, because of it’s neutral color but momentous 5 inch heel.

In finality The only form of “prep” my body is willing to embody is an alluring version of the subdued style.

Solid colors are the epitome of style, the basic building blocks of an elaborate piece.

For those days when under eye circles come to haunt you for enduring a long and tiresome night, basic pieces arrive for a rescue mission. This ensemble is chic with elegant vibes because of the simple flow of the jumper. The strapless navy jumper is possibly the most cozy piece in my closet because of it’s loose fit. Clinching at the top half of my body, this one pieced treasure creates more shape in my body and enhances my curves. Jumpers are the one most adaptable item that can be worn to almost every event because of it’s versatility. This olive green cardigan adds to the coziness of the overall ensemble and complements my deep skin tone perfectly. Finally I increased the elegance in this outfit by adding this large and intricate silver ring.

Denim is the epitome of the casual look.

I threw this effortless ensemble together in the blink of an eye. This piece has a bohemian edgy vibe and I adore this new twist on my style. This top is one of my most adored basics because although it is simple it has gold beading on the shoulders and I treasure these small details that make an outfit so memorable. This gorgeous ebony top also has a low scoop neck that emphasizes my small chest and gives it a little more animation. I went with these boy-fit high wasted denim shorts to add a little juxtaposition to the feminine top.Jeans can either be the perfect complement to an ensemble or a complete calamity.Jeans are a basic and everyone needs a pair, but only buy it if it fits!When someone wears loose fitted jeans it just makes them look sloppy and undermines their whole look. This ensemble was missing a little bit of the edge that I crave so I chose my sophisticated leopard print handbag to add more of that edgy vibe to this easygoing piece. I finished off with a pair of vibrant blue ballet flats to keep this ensemble casual. The feather necklace has an “organic” look to it because of the sandalwood beads and the feather is what clearly adds the bohemian look to this piece.The jewelry in this outfit is the impeccable culmination to this simple and easy ensemble.

Floral Edge

Femininity is everlasting style.

Rompers are truly a busy girl’s best friend and a crucial item for one to have in their wardrobe. This particular romper is extremely wearable and versatile, Its floral print is very feminine and flattering to any body. Although the feminine look is classic, I wanted to try something more edgy. The romper is floral, but its base is black which made me want to add more of that charcoal color and make this more alluring. The belt is the perfect addition to this ensemble because it carries through the motif of black and shows off my tiny waist. To add more edge I used this gorgeous neutral necklace that is extremely flamboyant. Finally I continued the floral theme with my triple flower ring.
