Recently I have come to the realization that your inner thoughts truly control your capabilities. “Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart”-cliche, yes, but very true. Sometimes all that you need is that individual “me” time to rummage through your thoughts and catalogue your goals and the path needed to achieve them. For me, the ideal place for this would be an empty beach, where it is only the beauty of the deep blue waves and my thoughts. This outfit is actually from a couple of months ago, when the temperatures were unbearably low and darkness began to conquer in the early evening.  The minty blue-green color is refreshing, but not too florid. Such a small jump, but such a big difference.

The construction of the work “birthday” is simple, it plainly defines the day that an individual is born. Yet the expectations that are attached with the word are endless—new responsibilities, promises, and freedoms. In a matter of sixty seconds a person can achieve a new level of maturity and wisdom. This ensemble is representative of the one jump that gives each and everyone one of us a sort of rebirth every year.

There are skirts with slits, there are skirts that are high-low, but never had I seen a skirt with such a drastic change of length; Its originality is what drew me to it. I have always been one to wear the shortest of the short skirts to show off my lengthy legs, but lately maxi skirts have had an appeal to me. This tail skirt is an impeccable amalgam of both sides of my personality. The brilliant blue tank top contrasts the deep black shade of the skirt, while the scalloped edges of the top add more texture to the ensemble.

Binded Darkness

A call of distress is sent out in to the pitch black darkness, lit by the stars of the night, beckoning for an enraptured goddess to answer its pleas.

Homecoming has come and gone with autumn and the acclaimed spirit week is officially over. It makes me a little nostalgic to think that this is my last year of high school, but with the new “senior” title comes a certain wisdom and classic factor. This LBD is simply the perfect way to embody my new senior spirit.

To say it in plain and honest words, everyone needs a little black dress. But this LBD needs to be an embodiment of your personality and style. This dress is truly impeccable for me, each detail adds allure and showcases how I style myself on a daily basis. The short hemline lengthens my already mile-long legs, and the tight fit embraces my body and creates a more curvy shape. One thing that I “j’adore” about this ensemble is that it is not overly sexy, like many other homecoming dresses are. Although this dress is short and clings to my body, the neckline makes it more appropriate, and the polka dotted pattern on the mesh adds a certain quirkiness to the outfit. However my favorite part of this ensemble must be the cutouts, they are what I like to call the eyes of the outfit. This pop of skin, through the polka dot mesh, makes this dress truly unparalleled and Angelina. As a finishing touch, I wore these embellished black heels to add some sparkle to my glamorous homecoming night.

Patterns excite my soul, by lighting it with a match of burning flowers.

Floral amalgamations are impeccable for the season of summer, with its bright hydrangeas and blazing sunny days. This whole ensemble focuses on the mixture of bright colors and bold patterns. This top is simply an embodiment of summer itself because of its casualness. The shirt is a loose, sheer top that is perfect for the bright summer sun and matches impeccably with the floral pieces of the months of June and July. The bright cobalt skirt complements the top perfectly because it has such an elegant vibe, and it’s A line shape juxtaposises the loose fit of the top. This whole ensemble is, in conclusion, the perfect embodiment of elegance and casualness because of its summery vibe.

Lines are the building block for all matter, this geometric term creates each crevice of this ensemble.

As I am sure you all know, I have an obsession with stripes, they are like my solid colors. This classic print is the blueprint for so many ensembles and actually acts to slim ones figure, instead of widen them. Although countless individuals believe that stripes make them look “fat” and “wide” it is actually the opposite! As long as you wear this edgy print in the right way it will work to flatter your body, in a way that no solid color could.This ensemble is truly ethereal because of this breezy pleated skirt. I built my entire ensemble around this one piece because it is such a statement skirt with its short length and edgy colors. I paired this with a simple striped sweater to go with the “stripe theme.” Finally I left all the accessories very simple and chic to go with the whole casual and elegant vibe of this outfit.

Efflorescent Coral

Well my lovelies It has been quite a while since I have posted anything on this beloved blog simply because school had truly taken over my life for a short amount of time. But I have good news for the tumblinas who still follow this blog, I am back and I already have many posts lined up for you dolls. So read on as I divulge the intricacies of this ensemble.

Summer has embodied an ensemble and been reborn into a piece of elegance and classic simplicity.

Neon pink awakens my soul and brings it to the heights of the warm summer sun, the rays of the blazing sun penetrate my soul to and leave an imprint of true elegance. Bright colors are the epitome of summer, these effulgent hues animate life itself, and eminate a sense of a certain confidence that only summer knows. This bright pink top is both classic and casual; it’s impeccable fitting emphasizes my tiny frame and creates an hour-glass shape for my body. The khaki pants are the perfect pair for this top because it balances out the bright hues of the top half of the ensemble. I kept the rest of the ensemble rather neutral simply because the top makes such a statement. The straw bag and clogs compliment the ensemble perfectly because of it’s sense of clean simplicity. Finally the cuff pulls this ensemble together. I refer to this piece of jewelry as my “superhero cuff” and I think that it truly brings a sense of chicness to the ensemble because of its modern shape.

Permutated weather create a screened canopy of uncertainty about spring’s outcomes. This ensemble is a result of the varying weather from week to week. A sweater warms my body from the bleak and unforgiving winds, but the short dress underneath it still has the allure of a springtime look. The epitome of feminine and edgy is embodied through this outfit because of the refined look of the skirt and sweater vs. the black belt and dark biker boots.
