An amalgamation of shapes, a dizzied mist of eminence, and colors galore: the human race.

The earth is such a miniscule part of the galaxy, yet as humans we often feel that our personal worlds are the only ones that exist. Then, in an epiphany you realize there is more to you than you, and then this epiphany seems to just dissipate into your mind. This ensemble is reminiscent of the peculiarity of the human race.

Now, enough with the ramblings of a boggled, questioning teenager. This dress spoke to me the moment I saw it in Forever 21;its splattered colors and almost animalistic semblance appealed to me. I could not have asked for a more flattering dress, the cinched waist accentuates my curves while the short length exposes my long legs. The one thing this ensemble was missing was a little bit of texture, hence the olive green cardigan.

Such a small jump, but such a big difference.

The construction of the work “birthday” is simple, it plainly defines the day that an individual is born. Yet the expectations that are attached with the word are endless—new responsibilities, promises, and freedoms. In a matter of sixty seconds a person can achieve a new level of maturity and wisdom. This ensemble is representative of the one jump that gives each and everyone one of us a sort of rebirth every year.

There are skirts with slits, there are skirts that are high-low, but never had I seen a skirt with such a drastic change of length; Its originality is what drew me to it. I have always been one to wear the shortest of the short skirts to show off my lengthy legs, but lately maxi skirts have had an appeal to me. This tail skirt is an impeccable amalgam of both sides of my personality. The brilliant blue tank top contrasts the deep black shade of the skirt, while the scalloped edges of the top add more texture to the ensemble.

Binded Darkness

A call of distress is sent out in to the pitch black darkness, lit by the stars of the night, beckoning for an enraptured goddess to answer its pleas.

Homecoming has come and gone with autumn and the acclaimed spirit week is officially over. It makes me a little nostalgic to think that this is my last year of high school, but with the new “senior” title comes a certain wisdom and classic factor. This LBD is simply the perfect way to embody my new senior spirit.

To say it in plain and honest words, everyone needs a little black dress. But this LBD needs to be an embodiment of your personality and style. This dress is truly impeccable for me, each detail adds allure and showcases how I style myself on a daily basis. The short hemline lengthens my already mile-long legs, and the tight fit embraces my body and creates a more curvy shape. One thing that I “j’adore” about this ensemble is that it is not overly sexy, like many other homecoming dresses are. Although this dress is short and clings to my body, the neckline makes it more appropriate, and the polka dotted pattern on the mesh adds a certain quirkiness to the outfit. However my favorite part of this ensemble must be the cutouts, they are what I like to call the eyes of the outfit. This pop of skin, through the polka dot mesh, makes this dress truly unparalleled and Angelina. As a finishing touch, I wore these embellished black heels to add some sparkle to my glamorous homecoming night.

Melodious birds sing the song of Cinderella, chirping away as they piece together an angelic ensemble.

I may be a little to a lot late to post my first day of school outfit, but here I am with this piece of glory. The phrase “geek chic” could easily be used to describe this seemingly studious ensemble. The pastel collared shirt contributes to the muted allure of this ensemble with the lace top half. While the neutral shorts, with multiple shades of brown, contrast the light color in the top and emphasize my long legs. Simple accessories make this outfit truly chic.

Senior year has only piled on my more homework than Junior year had, and because of that I have not been able to post in two long months! However I hope to post many more looks very soon!

Immaculate Hues

The deep aqua shades of the ocean send the angel of seasons to shore to bid the warm summer sun farewell.

Those three months of the year when a certain calm settles in the air is cause for the perfect ensemble to represent the tranquil vibes of summer. White is symbolic of purity and has a certain simplicity that no other color can obtain, it is one of the most versatile shades in the color wheel. This simple white tank dress is impeccable for the sun’s hot rays, but is also perfect as the base to any ensemble. The bright white that layers the tight dress works wonders with my dark skin tone and creates a casual, yet vogue piece. Because each thread of the dress embraces my body so well, it accentuates my curves and makes the ensemble more alluring. The accessories are the most key aspects in this outfit because each piece adds color, texture, and pattern. The pastel blue and opulent gold contrast vividly with the bright white of the dress, and complement the ensemble. Finally to add to the easy-going nature of this piece I fish-tail braided my air and wore patterned platforms.

I apologize for my lack of posts this summer, I have been busy with internships and college apps, but I hope to post many more outfits soon!

Allusions entrance their victims in a spiral of lies and misconceptions, these sneaky creatures are created to fool society to fall into stereotypical falsities.

Navy, black, and beige are some of the most basic colors that compose this piece; usually this pallet is used to describe a school uniform, but in this case it is the key component to this alluring look. In a way, this ensemble is an allusion with it’s basic colors, maxi skirt, and traditional pattern which sounds like the perfect modest look; but in reality this is an incredibly captivating outfit with many sexy details. The key to this piece is combining a neutral pallet and simple shapes with alluring complexities. The facile black top is a basic piece to any woman’s wardrobe, but also a sexy addition to an outfit. If someone were to utter the word maxi skirt in high school, it would be perceived as the most traditional, chaste piece that simply should not be worn. However this skirt is the complete opposite of that description, with its translucent fabric and deep slit. Finally the chunky, indigenous necklace adds a level of individuality to this enticing ensemble.

Summer is that one time of year that the population begins to tango to their own natural and relaxing beat of life with numerous family events, outings with friends, and extravagant vacations. But what individuals find so appealing about those scorching hot months is not the many social events, but the very effortless and jovial manner in which life itself is lived. Summer is that one time of year that one can live, not just exist.

The sunny season brings with it impulsive decisions which lead to momentous moments that beg for equally ostentatious yet ethereal apparel.

This ensemble evokes the delicate etiquette that each vacationer so desperately desires. One word is needed to describe this ensemble. Breezy. From head to toe, each piece is loosely fitted and still shows plenty of skin for the summer’s strong rays. This airy shirt is the most impeccable choice for my body because although it is extremely loose, it is extremely sheer so that my small frame is still seen. These white crochet shorts embody the summer spirit of “casualness” with its soft and interesting texture. The patterned platforms add length to my already long legs and add a slight pop of color this other wise black and white piece. Beachy accessories complete the look with sheen and sea shells. This ensemble includes a mix of texture, pattern, and color, which are three aspects that are essential to a breathtaking outfit.

A young child bounces her way to the alter in her baby blue frock leaving a trail of youth behind, only to come back as a an efflorescent damsel.

As the blue buds bloom in the summer heat so does style with shorter hemlines and open shoulders. This ensemble is formally known to me as the “god-mother” outfit simply because this classic look was created for my dear god-child’s baptism. The entire piece reminds me of my youthful days when my mother used to dress me in the most impeccable frocks for church every Sunday. However this particular ensemble is the “big-girl” version of all those poufy dresses with the abridged length, classic pattern, and open shoulders.

The strapless dress compliments my body perfectly because it embraces my waist, to create an immaculate silhouette. The shorter hemline exposes my most prized possession, my long legs, without being too ostentatious. The simple accessories create the classic aura that is emanated from this ensemble because each piece is undeniably sophisticated. Finally the patterned platforms add a splash of my extravagant personality because the amalgamation of the pattern of the dress and shoes create a subtly opulent look.

This top is simply an embodiment of summer itself because of its casualness. The shirt is a loose, sheer top that is perfect for the bright summer sun and matches impeccably with the floral pieces of the months of June and July. The bright cobalt skirt complements the top perfectly because it has such an elegant vibe, and it’s A line shape juxtaposises the loose fit of the top. This whole ensemble is, in conclusion, the perfect embodiment of elegance and casualness because of its summery vibe.

Ebony Facade

Culture speaks to the soul to my bring out hues of black and silver, reflecting itself as a mirage on my body.

My Indian origins have brought me to the place in which I am now, I am inspired by the indulgent colors and patters and I find myself lost in the cultural story of Indian style. It is truly difficult for me to create a unique ensemble with a sari because it has to be worn in a specific way, so I cannot use my usual “avant-garde” ways. However I do adore this piece because the sari itself is exquisite in my eyes, the color combination is simply impeccable. The black foreground with silver accents make this outfit stand out, and the fact that it is very sheer makes it seem like a more youthful sari. Finally to make this ensemble truly mine I added only silver accessories to make this piece unforgettable.

Well my lovelies It has been quite a while since I have posted anything on this beloved blog simply because school had truly taken over my life for a short amount of time. But I have good news for the tumblinas who still follow this blog, I am back and I already have many posts lined up for you dolls. So read on as I divulge the intricacies of this ensemble.

Summer has embodied an ensemble and been reborn into a piece of elegance and classic simplicity.

Neon pink awakens my soul and brings it to the heights of the warm summer sun, the rays of the blazing sun penetrate my soul to and leave an imprint of true elegance. Bright colors are the epitome of summer, these effulgent hues animate life itself, and eminate a sense of a certain confidence that only summer knows. This bright pink top is both classic and casual; it’s impeccable fitting emphasizes my tiny frame and creates an hour-glass shape for my body. The khaki pants are the perfect pair for this top because it balances out the bright hues of the top half of the ensemble. I kept the rest of the ensemble rather neutral simply because the top makes such a statement. The straw bag and clogs compliment the ensemble perfectly because of it’s sense of clean simplicity. Finally the cuff pulls this ensemble together. I refer to this piece of jewelry as my “superhero cuff” and I think that it truly brings a sense of chicness to the ensemble because of its modern shape.

A warm ardor of serenity envelopes my body in binding flowers of the sun, to carry it to the heat that this season brings. This ensemble evolves around the vivid hues of blue and deep vivacious prints of spring, that create a peaceful and serene vibe. The floral denim shirt fits my slim body impeccably to compliment each and every curve to create a feminine silhouette. The bandeau under the slightly unbuttoned shirt creates the alluring ambiance that I crave in all of my outfits, and also makes this piece more dainty because of its diaphanous lace. The bright cobalt blue shorts is the “eye-catcher” of the outfit, the color is so bold and avant-garde that it adds the perfect amount of edginess to the ensemble.

Polka dots diffuse themselves on the surface of azule nirvana, embodying the grandiose sillouette of an ostentatious creature of the sky.

Circles symbolize the epitome of eternity, its sinuosity constructs a shape similar to that of a furtive snake. This pictorialization of parallel patterns creates a vivacious “spring time” vibe. This particular ensemble was the perfect pick for a picnic at the lake because of its casual, spring, and french ambiance. The minute polka dot setting of the slightly sheer top is impeccably paired with the gargantum polka dots of the mini skirt. The opaqueness of the top creates the alluring vibe that I so greatly adore, while the short polka dot skirt carries a more sweet and girly vibe.
