Summer is that one time of year that the population begins to tango to their own natural and relaxing beat of life with numerous family events, outings with friends, and extravagant vacations. But what individuals find so appealing about those scorching hot months is not the many social events, but the very effortless and jovial manner in which life itself is lived. Summer is that one time of year that one can live, not just exist.

The sunny season brings with it impulsive decisions which lead to momentous moments that beg for equally ostentatious yet ethereal apparel.

This ensemble evokes the delicate etiquette that each vacationer so desperately desires. One word is needed to describe this ensemble. Breezy. From head to toe, each piece is loosely fitted and still shows plenty of skin for the summer’s strong rays. This airy shirt is the most impeccable choice for my body because although it is extremely loose, it is extremely sheer so that my small frame is still seen. These white crochet shorts embody the summer spirit of “casualness” with its soft and interesting texture.  The patterned platforms add length to my already long legs and add a slight pop of color this other wise black and white piece. Beachy accessories complete the look with sheen and sea shells. This ensemble includes a mix of texture, pattern, and color, which are three aspects that are essential to a breathtaking outfit.

Lines are the building block for all matter, this geometric term creates each crevice of this ensemble.

As I am sure you all know, I have an obsession with stripes, they are like my solid colors. This classic print is the blueprint for so many ensembles and actually acts to slim ones figure, instead of widen them. Although countless individuals believe that stripes make them look “fat” and “wide” it is actually the opposite! As long as you wear this edgy print in the right way it will work to flatter your body, in a way that no solid color could.This ensemble is truly ethereal because of this breezy pleated skirt. I built my entire ensemble around this one piece because it is such a statement skirt with its short length and edgy colors. I paired this with a simple striped sweater to go with the “stripe theme.” Finally I left all the accessories very simple and chic to go with the whole casual and elegant vibe of this outfit.

Efflorescent Coral

Well my lovelies It has been quite a while since I have posted anything on this beloved blog simply because school had truly taken over my life for a short amount of time. But I have good news for the tumblinas who still follow this blog, I am back and I already have many posts lined up for you dolls. So read on as I divulge the intricacies of this ensemble.

Summer has embodied an ensemble and been reborn into a piece of elegance and classic simplicity.

Neon pink awakens my soul and brings it to the heights of the warm summer sun, the rays of the blazing sun penetrate my soul to and leave an imprint of true elegance. Bright colors are the epitome of summer, these effulgent hues animate life itself, and eminate a sense of a certain confidence that only summer knows. This bright pink top is both classic and casual; it’s impeccable fitting emphasizes my tiny frame and creates an hour-glass shape for my body. The khaki pants are the perfect pair for this top because it balances out the bright hues of the top half of the ensemble. I kept the rest of the ensemble rather neutral simply because the top makes such a statement. The straw bag and clogs compliment the ensemble perfectly because of it’s sense of clean simplicity. Finally the cuff pulls this ensemble together. I refer to this piece of jewelry as my “superhero cuff” and I think that it truly brings a sense of chicness to the ensemble because of its modern shape.

Diffused Serenity

Polka dots diffuse themselves on the surface of azule nirvana, embodying the grandiose sillouette of an ostentatious creature of the sky.

Circles symbolize the epitome of eternity, its sinuosity constructs a shape similar to that of a furtive snake. This pictorialization of parallel patterns creates a vivacious “spring time” vibe. This particular ensemble was the perfect pick for a picnic at the lake because of its casual, spring, and french ambiance. The minute polka dot setting of the slightly sheer  top is impeccably paired with the gargantum polka dots of the mini skirt. The opaqueness of the top creates the alluring vibe that I so greatly adore, while the short polka dot skirt carries a more sweet and girly vibe.

Azure winds of refinement wrap around my body to create a nest of comfort and elegance.

Sleek tailoring is the key detail that allows for the most impeccable outfit, without it our society would be bonded in cubic apparel. This streamlined, fitted dress accentuates my slim body to emphasize it’s curves and emit a cultivation sophistication. Printed tights are a paramount option to crown a strictly simple ensemble, these polka dot tights add texture and pattern without appearing overly flamboyant. To say it simply, keep things simple when you want to look elegant and refined

Chic ripples of wind synthesize with the soft coat of creatures to create the epitome of downtown class.The amalgamation of patterns is essential to formulating an ensemble that embodies elegance and animation. The crisp and classic collared shirt expels an elegant and sophisticated vibe, contrasting the undaunted animal printed jumper. The key to keeping this ensemble from looking like a disheveled zoo is within the details; the simple accessories used aid in the focus of the apparel itself. The nude colored clogs elongate my legs to represent those of a cheetah, while the bag contrasts the print of the jumper and adds a refined ambiance.

Seraphic Dissension

A vendetta of broken peace breaks between an alluring seduction and celestial enchantment.

Ethereal clouds of innocence draw my soul into a heavenly channel, only to be extracted by the deep blaze from underneath me. The cozy, modest turtle neck serves to comfort me in the blazing snow, while the obscure darkness evokes the edginess that I so desperately crave. The juxtaposition between “angelic” and “demonic” follows this ensemble through the comparison of the turtleneck and the leather skirt, to the thigh highs vs. the polka dot tights. Although the frigid cold haunts the outdoors with whitewashed pavements, these warm thigh highs allow me to show a peek of skin while retaining heat to myself. The lack of gaudy jewelry gives this ensemble a simple, sleek, and elegant look; the only piece of jewelry that I included was a chic watch as a finishing touch.

Snow flurries freeze over my skin to create a layer of ice forcing me to break through into serendipity.

A new preferred style for modest gatherings:subtly sexy

What does one wear to pick up their rather modest Indian grandmother from the airport in the freezing cold? The simple answer to this is delineated in these retrospective moments of style. Turtlenecks are a simple and cozy classic that display a modest and simple demeanor, a personal favorite of mine. Tight-fitting turtlenecks serve to accentuate your shape by elongating it(check out Striped Amalgam), while loose fitting, chunky ones tend to create a cozy and easy going vibe. However this is not a plain and simple turtleneck that is paired with jeans and a pair of converse. I chose to create an alluring ensemble with the most modest piece in my closet by adding elements of edge. By wearing the animal print jumper underneath the sweater I was able to capture the attention of airport onlookers with my elongated legs, rather than my covered top half. Although the sweater is modest it acts impeccably with the jumper because of the extreme juxtapostion of edgy vs. sweet. 

Details are the key to a show-stopping outfit and this ensemble is no exception to the rule. Without the the belt on my waist this turtleneck would have been rather ill-fitting, but the belt creates an amazing curvy shape for my straight body.One of the most important pieces in this ensemble is the clutch, its crowded pattern serves to clash, but in such a way that it adds o the juxtapositional element o this ensemble. Finally the boots and earrings add to the motif of edginess against the modest.

Banded Wings

Feathers bind my body into a secure mantle forging an ornament that has only been seen by the heavens.

Lines are the single geometrical term that creates a myriad of materials, in my book these straight creatures are an obsession that can never be satisfied. Stripes have flown a long distance across the long ligaments of my body to create a more lengthened and lean figure. Contrasting the general public’s opinion on stripes, I believe that they can slim your body if you wear it right, hence my obsession.

Winter’s cold nights have begun to grasp the east coast’s lives, but we still cling to the well-tempered climate. This ensemble represents the unwilling transition to covered legs and ill-fitted cold-weather wear. The white-based sweater warms my soul and continues the motif of stripes. Banded skirts are tight instruments that hug your body in such a flattering way that you look curvier, creating a more shapely bod for my straight figure. I have been craving a midi-skirt and when I found this I was entrapped in a spell;the fit is impeccable because it lengthens tall figures. The fur vest acts as the wings to this delicate ensemble lifting it to a new vogue height. Modest and sexy mold into the same word when describing this ensemble, because of the rather covered piece yet subtle sexiness.
