My Indian origins have brought me to the place in which I am now, I am inspired by the indulgent colors and patters and I find myself lost in the cultural story of Indian style. It is truly difficult for me to create a unique ensemble with a sari because it has to be worn in a specific way, so I cannot use my usual “avant-garde” ways. However I do adore this piece because the sari itself is exquisite in my eyes, the color combination is simply impeccable. The black foreground with silver accents make this outfit stand out, and the fact that it is very sheer makes it seem like a more youthful sari. Well my tumblinas, it is day two of my labor day weekend special and as I promised this playful outfit doesn’t disappoint. We are halfway through this vogue journey and the best will be arriving tomorrow when the sun sets for one final time in summer.Day two was designated as my “dressy and elaborate look” and I took the stage with this radiant mini dress.

This ensemble evokes memories of a distant summer when I walked down the path of a warming lake with the many vibrant colors of the foreign sun striking my face.

This dress has a feminine vibe to it because of it’s intricate pattern that resembles bright turquoise flowers on a bed of orange grass. As much as I adore my maxi dresses I also love to show off my long legs. The dress is rather short but it’s length adds to the alluring factor of summer and allows this dress to be more breathable. The dress is cinched at the waist and I added a thick black belt to emphasize my small waist(Belts are the most valuable accessory in one’s closet, they can add shape to any piece or make a bold statement.) The fact that this belt is black makes this ensemble more edgy and feminine with a edgy twist is how I would describe my personal style. To complete this ensemble I added a pair of chic black booties that ameliorates this piece and what is a fierce ensemble without a pair of bold-look-at-me shoes? I finished the outfit of with tribal inspired accessories, that stayed within the same pallet as the dress. Nearly every time I style my hair and make-up, I leave it natural because I believe this way the actual clothes that I am wearing are accentuated.
